Update! On Rental Apartment Renovation

More than a month now but we’re still renovating the rental apartment. Well, all I can say having a rental property isn’t that great especially if renters doesn’t care about the place. Like my Dad’s renters who just left a month ago, because they smoked to that place for 11 years. It was indeed hard to remove the nicotine build up all over the house walls. It’s over a month now but we’re not done fixing it because the fixtures are gone badly too. Almost all the fixtures on that apartment have to be changed from rooms to bathroom and kitchen.  Even the small fixtures have to go like the spice rack although it’s not that old but because it’s made of plastic it gets discolor because of the nicotine.  So can’t really clean it anymore you know what I mean.  Dad mentioned to us that he wants to make a kitchen spice racks made from wood like the ones he made before for the other apartments. But I suggest just to buy a ready-made spice racks so he doesn’t have to spend a lot of money.  He said he'll think about it  :-)

Well, finally my hubby already done painting last night and tomorrow the rug company is coming to install the rug.  Then the cabinets once it’s ready but the cabinet maker hasn’t calling yet. We can’t wait for it to be done especially my hubby because he’s getting so tired already imagine he’s working full time as an auto mechanic then after work he has to work on the apartment every night after supper. He’s really killing himself but what can we do? :-/
