It's Never Too Late To Stop Smoking!

You probably already know one of the best ways to improve your health is to quit smoking. Smoking puts you at risk for many serious conditions that can shorten your life but many people still find it hard to quit.  But there are many programs and resources now like electronic cigarette that can help you to stop smoking gradually because electric cigarette (or e cigarette) is said to be almost identical to cigarette smoking but without the nicotine. They are battery powered, and create their effect by vaporizing nicotine which is dissolved in a solution of water and propylene glycol. The result is something that feels somewhat like smoke in the mouth and lungs but without involving any real smoke and tobacco.
Why Quit Now? Many who have smoked for years think stopping now won't do any good. But that's not true. According to studies many health problems caused by smoking can be even more serious for older adults. As soon as you stop smoking your body begins to recover. Quitting at any age will improve your health. Just remember by quitting you can: Lower your risk for lung and other types of cancer, lower your risk for heart disease, lung disease, and stroke, reduce your risk of developing or worsening chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), one of the leading causes of death here in the United States.  You can also: Improve your sense of taste and smell, save money, avoid exposing your loved ones to secondhand smoking.  I know stop smoking is very hard for an individual who smoked most of their life like my hubby he smoked for 35 years but I'm proud to say that he totally stop smoking right after we arrived here because that how he promised me.  I feel bad for him for the first few months and I witnessed how he been through when he decided to totally stop smoking but he did it! According to him the first step is to make a firm decision and pick a definite date to stop. Then make a clear plan for how you will quit and stick to it. Being my hubby’s a man of his word he managed to not even try it even once after the day he quit. I’m so proud of him. Anyway, no matter how you decide to quit, stick with your plan and know that you are taking a major step towards a better health.
