It is pouring down raining outside and I am slated to meet my fiancée for dinner at an old Chinese restaurant called Wong's Palace. I normally don't care that much for dining out but fiancée has a red eye flight to catch to go back east for a family gathering. After I finished taking a shower and cleaning up my house a little I was ready to head on out. After entering in my code on home security Anaheim I had 30 seconds to lock the door and run in the rain to my car. After I left my place I realized I left my wallet at home, but no time to turn around now. I was already 15 minutes late and I wanted to spend as much time as I could with my fiancée before she had to leave. I hadn't been to Wong's in a couple of years and upon arriving I remembered why I hadn't eaten here in awhile. The carpet could use a deep clean, but other than that the place was nice enough. I ordered the Orange chicken and my fiancée ordered General chicken and we chatted while waiting for our food. It seemed like an hour before our food arrived and when it did I knew what took so long, they had to heat our plates in the oven at 400 for 45 minutes! Ouch, those plates were hot! The food was bland at best, but it did it's job and filled the hunger spot. After paying way too much for mediocre food I kissed my fiancée goodbye and we said goodbye, at least until she was flying back in a few days.
Finally....
