Whenever I don’t have work I spend my time doing household chores. Since Monday I’ve been busy cleaning, organizing stuff, and help my hubby some of yard work. I also did weeding on my flower garden. I felt bad some of them died, some did good and there‘s a lot buds now. Soon we’re going to buy new flowering plants in exchange to those that died. Well, I’m glad that our grass looked good since we did grass patching and put weed killer last summer.
My poor peony the rain and wind knocked it down.
Our cherry tree. It grow doubled than last year.
and our Peach tree made a lot peaches this year. My hubby planted these trees a month before we came here.
Anyway, here’s a simple way step-by-step on how to take care of your lawn that I learned from the experts
a. Rake up dead, mattered grass-this will speed up the growth process.
b. If your lawn is showing new growth, skip to step 4-it will probably turn lush on it’s own. Otherwise, choose a grass seed from your local garden center.
c. Sprinkle seeds wherever you see exposed dirt, then lightly bury them with soil.
d. Use “pre-emergent” weed killer to prevent the growth of crabgrass.
e. As grass begins to thicken, start mowing-be careful not to trim more than a third of it’s height in a single pass.
We’re heading to Cape Cod tonight to attend the bridal shower of my step-daughter. I am excited because I never been into one. So, I don’t have an idea how they do it here.
