My Travel Tip Talk: First Time Cruiser Like Me?

It's been awhile since I posted my last tip talk about travel. I want to share to all of you the things that I've learned and also tips from the expert cruisers.  We all know that choosing the right vacation is not always easy.  But if you’ve been thinking about a cruise  Here are something you should know as a first cruiser.
THE LENGTH OF CRUISE YOU SHOULD TAKE
Cruise vacations comes in many lengths, spanning the globe. Most experts say it’s a good idea to take a cruise of at least seven days for maximum relation.
PLACES YOU SHOULD CRUISE
Young couples and families with children often opt for the Caribbean or Alaska, European cruises, the Mediterranean, Baltic and Far East are popular with 50-plus travelers who have a little more time available because the voyage is longer.
SHIP YOU SHOULD CHOOSE
Cruise ships comes in all shapes and sizes, from 3,000-passenger vessels to more intimate ships that carry less than 100 people. Large cruise ships have more entertainment, activities and dining options, while smaller vessels offer a casual atmosphere and often visits ports that larger vessels cannot enter.
THINGS YOU SHOULD PACK
Many cruise ships now feature a more relaxed and casual approach to dress throughout the cruise, while on others, formal dinners or parties are common place. Attire is dictated by the occasion.
KIND OF CABIN  YOU SHOULD CHOOSE
If you are on a tight budget and will be out and about most of the time, book an inside cabin. However, expert cruisers feel that an “outside” cabin, with a porthole or picture window, or a cabin with verandah is well worth the money.
TO PAY FOR THINGS
Cruise lines operate on a cashless system in which you sign a receipt for each purchases and settle your account at the end of the cruise with a credit card, cash or travelers check.
THE DINING OPTIONS
On virtually all cruises, meals or snacks are available 24 hours a day. There are formal dining rooms, buffets, pizzerias, poolside, bars, espresso cafes and room service. Most ships offer at least two seatings, and you will be asked for your preference when making your cruise reservation. On many of the newer ships, you can pay a small additional fee and dine in a specially restaurant on-board.

EXCURSIONS
Cruise ships offer a variety of shore excursions to help you make the most of your time in port. A shore excursion brochure will be included with your cruise documents
Summer is in the air and kids vacation is just around the corner. It's about time to plan your vacation. For me cruise vacation is the best vacation that you can do with your whole family especially if you  don't see  and bonding with them more often.  Enjoy! but don't forget to bring lots of swim wear, sun block lotions and 6 pair of dinner clothes :D. Stand by for more of cruise news.
