Hello! Everyone, I miss you all and of course I miss being here. So sorry, I haven’t much around here lately. As I’ve said in my previous post that there’s a lot going on to me . I’ve just done with my yearly physical examination. Everything was good except for my high cholesterol. .I’m still waiting the result of my blood test and my physician’s call wither I will take the cholesterol medication now or later. But during the check-up she told me that in my previous blood test showed that i might start taking it now. So, I don’t know I am very much careful of what I eat everyday but still my cholesterol is high. I complained to her, I said another pills again ? I am so sick and tired taking it, she replied to me, sorry but we need to take action now because you’re very prone to heart attack. Oh well, that’s life it runs in my family. My mom died in an early age of forty.
Another thing, I mentioned here before that I am applying for a part time job. That company required a TB skin test which I did. But, gosh! I was surprised when I got positive. I couldn’t believe it at first because I’ve just tested from my country and here last March of 2009 before our green card application all are negative results. Well, to make sure I’ve had an x-ray examination last Monday, March 8 in Boston Medical Center. The result of the x-ray was negative but the Doctor who seen me said I just only have a TB virus. He explained to me what a TB virus means. He said it’s not a communicable virus. And that the virus is still in sleeping period and it can be active in the future. To prevent it? I need to take a medication again?! For 9 months to make the virus die. At first I didn’t like the idea because I was thinking whose going to drive me every month for 9 months. My sister in law who knows Boston Medical Center have a regular job now. So, the Doctor told me that it’s my choice wither if I’ll take it or not. Because in some people the virus dies in time without taking a medication but he recommended for me to take it. my sister in law Elise said to me, don’t take a chance if you need and if I need to drive you every month for your check-up I will do it. I feel so relieved, Isn‘t she so nice?
The Doctor also stated that it is possible to have a TB virus especially if you came from other country where TB is very common. It could be like when somebody with TB cough and you inhale it. That’s how you get the virus. Be aware now everyone when somebody’s coughing in front of you. Cover up! :D You’ll never know. Well, friends that’s all for now. I know it’s not a good news at all. But I hope you learn something from me. Conclusion: It’s very tough getting old huh? lol Hopefully soon I’ve be here again regularly. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. I love you all!
My daughter wants to thank our friend Joanna of Greece for this lovely photo. My daughter was so much giggles when she saw this photo. She really love it and she wants to own one of that pups :D.
