Worried About The Safety Of My Daughter

I just came home  from my daughter school. I talked to the Principal to straighten out the problem that my daughter experienced at the school bus coming home yesterday. She came home crying. She was so upset, I can’t even ask her what had happened to her because she can’t even barely talk. She was just crying and crying too hard. When she calm down, I asked her to tell me what had happened. She said one of the student rider at the bus where she’s  riding, bullied her. According to my daughter, at first the girl and her brother saying bad words to my daughter  like ( jackass, asshole etc… I was shocked! Oh gosh)  then she started stepping on her feet and pulling the hood of her jacket until she got choke. She never mention it to me until she got hurt yesterday.  She told me that the girl was bothering 4 times already. I really feel bad, for the reason that I never taught her how to fight back.  Last night, her Dad was so upset. He said to my daughter, "from now on if somebody hurt you, you needs to fight back". But my daughter told me last night that she can’t do it. She said that she doesn’t want to hurt somebody. Because hurting somebody is a mean thing to do.  Oh well, She got that attitude from me....my fault.

Anyway, the Principal promised me that they will going to take action on this first thing in the morning tomorrow. She said that she will going to call me tomorrow for the updates. Well, I am hoping that this will going to stop real soon. I am worried because bullying is a big thing here in the US right now.  The other night while I am watching the news. A girl whose a high school student killed herself. Because she can’t take anymore of the bullying that she experienced in her school.  For me, kids who experienced bullying can make them not want to play outside or go to school. Of course it's hard to keep your mind on schoolwork when you're worried about how you're going to deal with the bully. Bullying bothers everyone — and not just the kids who are getting picked on. Bullying can make school a place of fear and can lead to more violence and more stress for everyone. I will  never let that to happen to my daughter. She does really loves school. I don’t want her to feel not going because of bullying.

  2. I am so sorry to hear about it ate sam. I can imagine baby bot right now, she doesn't know how to fight back. She is very sweet like her mommy and doesn't want to hurt or fight anybody. That is the disadvantage because you get taking advantage of. You know what I mean. I always tell you to not be so nice all the time. SIGH!!

  4. Yes, bullying has no place in school or anywhere else in society. It's the classic case of the strong throwing its weight against the weak. You should teach your kids to stand up for their rights. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

  6. Oh God. Same thing has been our problem with my eldest son. He's been bullied eversince. My son doesn't fight back also. He is the kindest human on earth. He would just take anything. No matter what we do to stop the bullying, it won't stop. He was even hit in the head by kids here inside this so called Seamen's village. And I had to take the matter to our barangay officials. Shame on the parents of these kids. They don't even check on their kids.
I hope everything will be okay for your daughter soon.
