Tip Talk Monday: Clutter Controlled 1 - How To Make Your Laundry Room More Functional

Get a jump on the new year by cleaning up those hard-to-handle spaces in your laundry room, bathroom, office and garage.  I will share   4  series of strategies on each spaces that I mentioned every Monday  in  my tip talk Monday of course.
MAKE THE PREWORKS EASY - Ask your husband and kids to sort their clothes. Put three separate labeled baskets or bins in the laundry room: one for whites, one for colors, one for dry cleaning.
SHARE THE LOAD - Have each person put away his or her own clothes. Stack each family members clean, folded laundry in a separate basket-it will save you from running up and down the stairs all day long. (If you have one :D)
DON’T FORGET THE EXTRAS - Keep trash and recycling cans in the laundry room for dryer lint and empty detergent bottles. You should also start a finders-keepers box where you put coins, dollar bills and receipts you find in pockets. If your hubby or kids haven’t claimed their money after two weeks, put it into your own treat fund. (A pizza treat perhaps?) This will help them remember to check their clothes more carefully the next time around
…continued on Monday…

That is a very ideal situation. I could hardly tell my kids to put their dirty clothes at the container for dirty clothes. Most lie around the bin or on the floor where they change clothes. Good thing we have a maid to sort them out. Thanks for the practical post. God bless you all always.
