Uncle Joe's Funeral

Hello! again everyone. Surely! I miss all of you. We just came from the summer house.  My hubby and I does cleaning since Friday.  Daddy will totally close it for the  long winter because nobody lives there anymore. Uncle Joe was gone so there's no since to still run the heat there and everything.  We're probably going down there maybe once in awhile just to check.

Anyway, I know that Uncle Joe is now in a better place. His passing was very sad but he has to be happier now. He fought the shingles for more than a year and the treatments that go along with it. He fought long and hard.  All the family and his friends attended the funeral.

This is the only photo that I took . It is only a stolen shot.  I don't know if it is allowed because no one in my hubby's family took a photo. So, I  had hesitation in doing it. Unlike in my country the family takes photo's during  the wake and in the funeral.  And also another thing  that I learned here.  The wake is only 1 day. In my country the wake is like 7 days and if the family is waiting for some relatives from far places, the wake will lasted like 2 weeks. 

Well, obcourse everyone still not getting over it. Especially my daughter because it 's her first time to experience it.  I get worried at first especially when she saw Uncle Joe at the his wake.  She never stop crying.  My hubby explains everything  and  helps her to understand about death. I am so thankful, she is feeling better now.

It gives us much comfort to know that you are thinking of us as we grieve our uncle's death"   I have to go night, night now. It was a long week and a long days for me. Ciao!
