I didn't get a good sleep last night because of my migraine attack. I get it before and after my best friend visits every month. I hope I will have a goodnight sleep tonight. Because lacking of sleep worsen the migraine more.
But I am so thankful that I don't have the "Bad Aura" that my doctor told me. Because most women who experience flashing lights and other visual changes along with the headaches are somewhat more prone to strokes. Specially, 3.6 percent of the women who had such auras with migraines at least once a week suffered ischemic strokes - the more common but less deadly kind over a 12 period compared with about 1 percent of the women who had migraines "without aura"
Everyone!

I use to have bad headaches. You may want to drink more water, stay away from perfume, nail-polish and bright lights. Salt in the diet with spicy food can cause problems too. Always take time to relax and try to reduce stress by working out as well. God bless you.
Hey, I also have a similar problem. I'll get migraines through the entire week of my period. I have found by taking oral contraceptives and skipping the "off" week it reduces my hormonal fluctuations to a point where I no longer get the migraines. You do of course, need to have a period every three months or so, but even considering that, its a huge quality of life improvement. http://real-headache-help.com/hormonal-migraines/
